Have you thought about building your own computer? Upgrading the one that you have? Saving money by up-cycling and keeping e-waste out of the landfill. You can often make a functional computer from recycled parts that will accomplish all of the tasks that you need. At the Tool Library, we’ll show you how to build an entire PC from parts. We’ll go over the whole process: What you need, where to get them, how they go together. We’ll also touch briefly on OS systems like Windows and Linux. We’ll have some older computers and components to work with but feel free to bring your own old PC if you want. No previous experience or tools needed.
