Make Planter Boxes @ Capitol Hill Tool Library | Seattle | Washington | United States

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to build a simple, elegant 36x8x8-inch wooden garden planter in two versions: one is a footed, freestanding box, and the other can be hung on a window with a French cleat, galvanized brackets, or wood brackets. Participants will help build both versions with the instructor, who will also provide a handout of the instructions, with exploded views and a cut plan so you can construct your own. At the end of the class, we’ll raffle off the finished boxes to two lucky participants! This is a wonderful complement to our Green Your Space planting tutorial/workshop on St. Patrick’s Day from 9am-12pm, so we look forward to seeing you at both events.

Here is the workshop guide in case you want to bring your own wood or see what you are getting into.
